Amanda Markmann

Amanda is an experience leader who designs and builds the systems organizations rely on to grow, adapt, and stay human in the face of change. Grounded in over two decades of design practice, she operates at the intersection of experience strategy, organizational design, and emerging technology, helping enterprises move from fragmented experiences to coherent, scalable platforms.

Currently a Service and Experience Design Director at Accenture Song, Amanda leads global experience organizations across complex enterprise ecosystems. She partners with executive leadership, product, and engineering to define experience vision, establish operating models, and embed experience as a core driver of platform, portfolio, and business outcomes. Her work focuses on shaping how organizations design, deliver, and evolve experiences at scale.

A defining dimension of Amanda’s leadership is the AI-native evolution of experience, grounded in ethics and sustainability. She approaches AI as experience infrastructure that reshapes how insight is generated, decisions are supported, and systems adapt over time. She champions responsible and sustainable AI practices that emphasize transparency, accountability, accessibility, and human oversight, while also considering long-term system health, efficiency, and environmental impact. Her work centers on designing symbiotic human and agent relationships that amplify human judgment, build trust, and create durable value.

Previously at Marriott, Amanda led global UX strategy for Loyalty and Digital Merchandising experiences supporting more than 150 million users worldwide. Earlier in her career, she built and led creative and UX organizations within agencies and consultancies, including founding her own practice. Across roles, she is known for building strong leaders, cohesive teams, and cultures rooted in openness, collaboration, and shared ownership.

Amanda works with startups and Fortune 100 companies across travel, technology, energy, media, and professional services. She remains active in the design community through mentorship, speaking, and leadership, with a continued focus on the future of experience in an AI-enabled world.
